Gladiatus: Hero of Rome is a web based game where you take on the role of a gladiator in Rome and fight against other players to work your way up the ranks. You can also travel outside the city on quests for gold and experience where you will encounter a wide range of beasts and warriors to fight. The game is free to play with the option to pay if you want more features or items that are way above your character's current level. Online Games About Gladiatus Tools The Gladiatus Tools website was originally brought to you by Britannicus & Overseer of server 1 (.com). While they were active players and their knowledge of Gladiatus grew they felt that it would be a good idea to put together a website where they could share their tips and tools with other enthusiastic players. It was their aim to provide you with an excellent Gladiatus resource that you will visit and use time and time again. Simulator The Simulator takes your statistics and your opponent's statistics and performs various calculations to determine who would win in an arena battle. The battle can be simulated 20, 50, 100 or 500 times, as specified by you. You will then be presented with who won the battle and how many simulations that person won as a percentage of the total simulations specified. The only limitation of the Simulator revolves around the random nature of battles in Gladiatus. Unfortunately, the developers of Gladiatus decided to make battles consist of a random number of total turns. Put simply, this means that the Simulator has no way of knowing whether you will win the battle by beating your opponents health down to less than 10 health points. Therefore, the only way the Simulator can determine the outcome of a battle is to compare the total hitpoints inflicted by the attacker to the total hitpoints inflicted by the defender. The necessary stats to perform the simulations can either be entered directly in to the relevant fields or by copying and pasting them from the player's overview. Simply click auto-fill on the simulator page, copy the "attackers" stats from the beginning of "Level" to the end of "Damage" and paste them in to the "Attackers" text-area on the pop-up. Repeat for the defenders stats and click "GO!" and all the stats will be automatically filled in for you! Arena Timer As you will know, there is a limit on the amount of attacks you can make in the arena. You can only hit one person every 15 minutes (5 minutes with Premium). This tool is here to help you maximise on your opportunities. Set this timer going to let you know when your 15 minutes or 5 minutes is up so you can attack someone again. The Calculator The Calculator is a tool to help you work out what level of items you can see in the Auction and the Market. The tool can also work out what level you have to be to see a certain item, given its level. This helps to find out if you can see an item a friend/guild member wants to sell you. The calculator can also tell you the damage absorption range of a given armour value and how much it will cost you train your Strength, Skill, Agility, Constitution or Charisma. Not only will it tell you how much your training would be for a basic level, but it will also tell you how much you would have to spend/have spent to get to that level from level 5 at the start of the game! Since the recent addition to the rules regarding bashing, our Calculator can now also tell you, given your character level, who it is safe to attack in the arena and how many times you may do so! Hopefully this will put an end to any accidental bashing! It is an extensive Excel spreadsheet (also compatible with OpenOffice) with active macros to help in identifying items on the list. The creatively named Gladiatus Duel History Tool is a simple to use program designed to help players keep track of their player-versus-player exploits in the game. Forum Combat Report Generator Created by request, the Forum CR Generator will transform your combat reports in to "forum friendly" code. You can specify font colours and whether or not you want to reveal the names of the attacker or defender in the generated code. To use simply open your combat report, select all (Ctrl+A) and copy and paste the data in to the first box. Choose your options, click "Generate Code" then copy and paste the generated code from the second box in to your forum thread! EASY! |
